Justice manuel pamaran biography of martin

MANILA – Defense Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana has sworn in former Sandiganbayan Justice Manuel R.

Pamaran as the president of the Veterans Federation of the Philippines (VFP).

Pamaran , a World War II veteran, replaced retired Col. Bonifacio G. de Gracia.

Before assuming his new post last week, Pamaran was the VFP executive vice president and chief operating officer of the federation.

During the Second World War, Pamaran was a member of the famed Hunters ROTC guerrillas that gathered intelligence information to the Americans and Filipino guerrillas fighting the Japanese.

Pamaran also figured in the liberation campaigns of areas outside Manila – Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Tayabas (now Quezon).

A native of Bacoor, Cavite, Pamaran was born on June 17, He obtained his law degree from the Manuel L.

Quezon University as a scholar of PVAO.

Pamaran is a noted practicing lawyer. He used to be the dean of the College
