    • Early life

    Anvar was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, to Iranian parents.[4] They moved to Montreal, Quebec, where he was raised. He graduated from Beaconsfield High School in 1983.[5]

    Career

    Anvar has said that after early studies of psychology and sciences at McGill University,[6][7] he changed fields and graduated from the National Theatre School in 1989.[4]
